Twitch Transcript MCP Server —
clips your AI can read.
Connect once, then paste a Twitch clip link into Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or Claude Code and ask for captions, titles, or a recap. The AI calls transcribe_twitch on its own — and clips without captions are transcribed with AI automatically.

Once connected, the AI just needs the URL — every Twitch format below resolves automatically. No URL cleanup, no parsing, no client-side handling.
clips.twitch.tv/{slug} — what Twitch’s share button copies.twitch.tv/{channel}/clip/{slug}. The tool handles both formats.Just ask.
After connecting, paste any prompt below into Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor. The AI calls transcribe_twitch on its own — no syntax to memorize, no JSON to write.

What if the Twitch clip has no captions?
That’s normal for Twitch clips, and it’s handled automatically: the tool transcribes the clip’s audio with AI. The AI client gets the text back either way.
How do I connect it to Claude or Cursor?
Add a custom MCP connector pointing at https://mcp.transcriptmagic.com/mcp. Sign in with Google in the browser tab — transcribe_twitch and the other tools appear in every chat from then on.
Can it transcribe a full Twitch VOD or live stream?
No — transcribe_twitch accepts clip URLs only (clips.twitch.tv/… or twitch.tv/{channel}/clip/…). For a moment in a past broadcast, clip it on Twitch first and paste the clip link.
Can I find my past Twitch transcripts?
Yes — ask your AI to list recent transcripts. The list_recent_transcripts tool accepts a twitch platform filter and is free to call.
How much does it cost?
1 credit per successful transcribe_twitch call, whether the text came from captions or AI. Clips with no detectable speech and failed lookups don’t consume credits. Free credits are included on signup.
Should I use this or the REST API?
Use the MCP server when you’re working inside Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or Claude Code. Use the Twitch REST API for batch jobs and server-side automations. Same backend.
