What’s supported — and what happens after

Any public show in the Apple Podcasts directory works. Paywalled, private, and subscriber-only feeds are not supported — if an episode is premium-only with no public feed, we can’t reach its audio. Apple Podcasts transcript questions we get a lot.

How do I get an Apple Podcasts episode URL?
Open the episode in the Podcasts app or on podcasts.apple.com, then choose Share Episode → Copy Link. A valid episode link contains ?i= followed by a number — that’s the episode id. Paste the link into the box at the top of this page.
Why doesn't my link work?
You probably copied a show-level link — one without ?i= in the URL. Show links point at the whole podcast, so we can’t tell which episode you want. Open the specific episode first, then use Share Episode → Copy Link and paste that URL.
How long does transcription take?
Typically 1–3 minutes for a full episode. We transcribe the actual audio with AI, so longer episodes take a little longer than short ones.
Is there an episode length limit?
Yes — episodes up to 4 hours are supported, which covers the vast majority of podcasts.
Can I download the Apple Podcast transcript?
Yes. Once the episode is transcribed you can copy it to the clipboard or download the full transcript as a TXT or PDF file — timestamped and ready for show notes.
Do I need an account?
Podcast transcription is a Plus or Pro feature. Sign in with Google and subscribe to Plus or Pro, and transcription costs 10 credits per hour of audio — a 20-minute episode is 10 credits, a 3-hour episode is 30. Episodes just over an hour get a few minutes’ grace, so a 65-minute episode is still 10 credits. The 7 social platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Rumble, X) are available on every plan, including Free.
Do paywalled or subscriber-only shows work?
No. We transcribe audio from public podcast feeds only. Premium, subscriber-only, or channel-exclusive episodes without a public feed can’t be transcribed.
How accurate is the transcript?
We use AI speech-to-text on the episode audio. Clear conversational audio — interviews, solo shows — transcribes very well; heavy music beds, crosstalk, or poor microphones can reduce accuracy on those portions.
Can I translate the transcript or make show notes?
Yes — translate into 40 languages, generate an AI summary and show notes, chat with the episode, or repurpose it into 8 content formats like threads, newsletters, and blog drafts.
Does it transcribe the whole show or one episode?
One episode per link. Each link with an ?i= episode id maps to a single episode — to transcribe several episodes, paste each episode’s link separately.
