Yes. All three Instagram video URL patterns resolve to the same transcribe_instagram tool. The AI doesn't need to detect or normalize the URL format.

How do I connect this in Claude or Cursor?

Are private Instagram accounts supported?

No. Only publicly viewable Instagram videos can be transcribed. Private accounts and close-friends posts return a clear error.

What about Stories or Highlights?

Not currently — Stories expire and Highlights have shifting URLs. We focus on permanent Reels, video posts, and IGTV. Email [email protected] if you need Stories support.
